The John O'Hara Celebration, Artist in Education, Community Theatre, Childrens Art Education, Spring, Summer and Fall Workshops, Jazz, Blues and Pop Music Performances. It's all here at the Schuylkill County Council for the Arts. As our new season gets underway, take some time to see the exciting events for the upcoming year and join us in celebrating the art and artists that enrich our lives.

Showing in the SCCA Galleries for the Summer - a retrospective of the work of educator and artist Frederic Toone Bacon.
Mr. Bacon was the head of art education for the school district of Philadelphia for over 30 years. His work ranges from abstract oil paintings to figurative woodcuts highlighting the experience of 20th century African American artists and performers. Mr. Bacon's work will be featured at the art center until Mid-August.
