Thanks to the efforts of Missi-Allen, the SCCA is now expanding its workshops through the Fall and Spring seasons. A wide variety of art disciplines are available to suit that artist that rests in all of us. Visit with us throughout the year to see the workshop offerings availbale to you.

SCCA Summer Art Camp for children 4-14!
Session II: July 14-17,21-24.
Session III: July 28-31, August 4-7.

Summer Art Studios for Adults had to be canceled due to low enrollment. Classes included: Saturday Pottery, Monday Nite Acrylic Painting, Tuesday Nite Pastel Painting, Stained Glass on Tuesday, Metal Smitthing Thursdays.

May 10th at 7pm: Harry Humes presents his newest book: "Pennsylvania Poems". Mr. Humes is an award winning writer, professor of English, writer of numerous books, Pa Humanities Council Scholar, and a Schuylkill County native. This event sponsored in part by the PA Humanities Council. Admission donation to be announced.

May 12th: Writer's Workshop with Harry Humes. Wizard of Words-Harry Humes- presents this writer's workshop for writers of all skill levels. Limited to 15 spots so call today to reserve your place! 570.622.2788x24. Price to be announced.

July 11, 2008. 6:30pm-8pm.: Academy Award winner and Schuylkill County native Victor Schertzinger into the SCCA Arts Hall of Fame &Fine Food by Fine Men...and a few fine women!
$25 per person, $40 per couple. Enjoy fine food and live music by the New York Players and Kim Russell Seibert honoring musical genius Victor Schertzinger. Do an internet search "Victor Schertzinger", you'll be glad you did!

September 6, 2008: SCCA's Annual Music Festival! Blues, Jazz, Funk, Rock & Roll!
